Epsom Downs

When we set off to walk over Epsom Downs it was a bright sunny spring day.  As we approached the final climb back to the car these dark clouds were scudding towards us with worrying rapidity.  Our gentle stroll became a power walk as we upped the pace to get back before the heavens opened.  Fat drops of rain had begun to plop down as we opened the car doors by the time we had started the engine it was coming down so fast that the windscreen wipers couldn’t keep up with the downfall.

I think I would have run the other way. Hehe. I hope you had a fun time, despite the rain. #MySundayPhoto

If there had been a tea room we would have made straight for it!

What a fabulous sky – that path definitely looks like it is heading for trouble!
