BRITISH MUSEUM

British Museum

When I first came to London, the British Museum was full of wonderful things but very dark and extremely difficult to navigate.  Now it has a wonderful, light-filled centre created by a stunning Norman Foster designed glass roof over the central courtyard.  As a good East Anglian, I obviously  go to see the Sutton Hoo treasures every time I visit but new space never ceases to fill me with awe.

Love this pic. There’s normally so much to see in museums that I forget the buildings are often something to admire too. I can’t wait to take Freya. #MySundayPhoto

Very nice! I’ve seen lots of BM roof top in B&W but never green before. Great pic. 🙂 #MySundayPhoto

Great shot, it could almost be a piece of fabric, I love the colours and the pattern. Looks like the kid of roof I’d be very happy to gaze through for a while #MySundayPhoto
