MUSEUM SELFIE at Pinakothek der Moderne

Museum selfie, PinakothekAnother picture from the Junior CWs.  When I first saw this, I thought, I don’t remember taking that, but that I must have done because the rest of the family are in the picture.  Then I realised that it was a selfie!  High above the serried ranks of model cars was a mirror that I didn’t notice as I made my way round the museum.    This was taken in the Pinakothek  der Moderne in Munich which is a vast building that is home to four separate museums, here we are in the Design Museum.  Just right for the week which contained Museum Selfie day!   I’m really enjoying seeing the world through my sons’ eyes.

Heh, this is like a 21st century version of the Terracotta Warriors … 🙂

Wow Catherine, that’s such an interesting photograph with such an unusual perspective. It took me a few seconds to actually work it out. Brilliant 😀

Oh my! Your photo leaves me feeling all disorientated, as if my brain is battling to compute what it is seeing. Looking at the neat rows of cars reminds me of the neat way people park here…Not! Very clever photo.

I had to look at that pic a few times until I got it….but now I do! That must have been a vast exhibit #MySundayPhoto

It was huge, that room devoted to cars and the next to bentwood chairs!

Love the perspective on this shot. It threw me for a minute. I thought the photo was taken from a balcony looking down 😊

That’s what I thought at first, but then it would have had to been me taking the photo, feared that I had lost my marbles!

I had to look at it for a few seconds before working out it’s the ceiling. Fab shot!

are these all toy cars? I think that from the big car in the picture. I love wandering round museums

They are sort of plaster models of cars, lots of small ones and one full size. All running up an enormous wall.
