Persistent rain over the Christmas holiday rendered our plans for a country walk likely to be rained off or at the very least extremely muddy. We changed our plans and still had our walk but in a location with paving and lots of places to shelter should the heavens open. Where better to stroll than around the Brick Lane area of London with its vibrant Street Art scene. Fashion Street delivered the perfect mix this fabulous painting by Jimmy C on the wall of an excellent cafe, Joe’s Kid. Joe is the man in the picture and his Grand-daughter is the child, back in the day he ran his own East End cafe and now Danni is all grown up with this cafe of her own.
