What is it about May?  Three cousins; Sarah, Caroline and me are all May babies.  When I got to London Janet, Sally, Kate, Jane and Anne were all added to my May friends.  When I married Mr CW both my mother-in-law and sister-in-law swelled the ranks, joined a little later by the junior CW’s.  Ante-natal classes added Aileen, Christine and Kate to the club.  This week the ante-natal posse headed off to a wine tasting to celebrate.

Most of our oldest’s friends – or at least their parents – were people we got to know through ante-natal groups, so they were all born within a six-week span. But within our family we have a cluster of birthdays too: my wife, brother, mum and I all have our birthdays in a 17 day stretch across late August and early September. My dad hates that time of year – too many presents!

I’m going to have to celebrate in June as it seems so so many of my friends including my husband were born then!

Blimey that is A LOT of birthdays, you’ll need a drink after shopping for all of them 😀 Happy birthday to you. I hope you have a wonderful time.

That’s an impressive way to spend an evening, I am not a wine lover, but I would give it a go! x

Hope you enjoyed the wine tasting. That’s a lot of birthdays. My family on my mum’s side were all October (4 of us), while the OH’s family have a lot in Dec/early Jan. But May’s busy for my friends with about 4 of them plus my mum having had birthdays then. I guess it’s lots of summer holiday conceptions.

It certainly does. May full of cakes then June full of lettuce!
