Welcome to #CulturedKids March 2018. I think that it is safe to say that if you are in the UK you will be reading this with a snowy vista to look out at. Just as green shoots of spring bulbs started to appear in our garden everything is looking very wintery again. #CulturedKids is set to change; Nell’s commitments outside her blog have grown and she can no longer devote the time to #CulturedKids, so from next month it will be just me. Hopefully you won’t notice any difference and the party will go on just as normal.

Snow drifted gently down during our morning skitour. Soft fluffy snow made for perfect descents and slip free ascents. Rumour has it that tomorrow the sun may show its face and that we will have far ranging views. #crosscountryskiing #norway #halfterm #familyholidays #travelblogger #snaphappybritmums #travelgram #getmorewinter #wintersports #wanderlust
How was your half term? We headed of to Norway for our annual cross country ski trip we have been going since the boys were eight when meandering along at their pace made for a relaxing day, now we have to keep up with them and get some proper exercise! My best discovery since starting Catherine’s Cultural Wednesdays has been that anybody can go to the auction views at Sotheby’s and Christies. This this the time of year for the big Impressionist and Twentieth Century sales, this year there is the added draw of seeing the Rockefeller Collection.
Thank you everybody that linked up last month. My favourites in no particular order were:
The Williams family of Go Live Young linked up the Complete Guide to Petra with Kids. Petra has long been on my list and I confess that it was something that I thought would have to wait until the teens have gone to university but now I know that we could visit sooner.
Phoebe from Lou Messugo blog left the sunny south of France where she lives and headed up Glasgow and set about Discovering Street Art on the Glasgow Mural Trail. This combined two of my great loves street art and Glasgow, might have to jump on a train soon.
Emma from A Bavarian Sojourn has moved again, this time to the UK and is spending time finding out her new surroundings. She took us with her Exploring the Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, a small but perfectly formed gallery.
What have you been up to this month? Link up your posts about visits to galleries, museums, historic places or theatre shows with Nell over at the Pigeon Pair and Me.
